National Park Service

Since 1916 the American people have entrusted the National Park Service with the care of their national parks. With the help of volunteers and park partners, their mission is “preserving unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The Park Service cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world.”

You might be wondering “But how do they help?” well they help from the destruction of earthquakes and oil spills, to the disappearance of historic and cultural treasures, to new generations of Americans that may never experience, and learn from, our nation’s best idea – America’s national parks face challenges of all sizes and scopes.

Organiation(s): National parks conservation association

My choice of organization would be about park preservations, I understand that a lot of people of this age and century don’t really care about parks now days, but they are still part of an important vial for our country, they show off that we care of our own nature and well being of our own planet and country. Taken from the example from the “National Parks Conservation Association” their mission statement is “We’re protecting and enhancing America’s National Park System for present and future generations.”

Interesting art: Facet

This type of art which I recently found out of, its called “Phacet” its kinda like a combination of abstract art and new poly art. This type of art became my new favorite due to the immersive amount of bright colors and forms inside the art itself plus for me it gives off a meaning of something new, something futuristic.W_2013_066

during our course of art, cubism has a rather important role in art, specially in digital, even though with digital art everything else has become more simple for art to be created, yeah sure, it doesn’t have the feeling of creating something with your own hands, but at least it gives off the feeling you’ve created something that you need to be proud of. Using the correct tools like for example “Lasso” tool to create the shapes your looking for, to the colors you need to select to find the proper color variation for it to look an amazing piece of art, following an example from a type of art called “Poly cubism” which is another type of cubism, I was able to follow its type of art and (I wouldn’t exactly replicate) imitate its traits into my work for example like other images you can see around in the web

André Lhote

André Lhote was a recognized cubist artist back in the 1800-1900’s. what I find interesting about this cubist artist out of others I’ve read about it, is that he used Egyptian archeology as a subject from his work which if my memory doesn’t fail, Egyptians are well known for their hieroglyphics as their native writing language and he put them to use as a piece of art, making it into his own work.Edmond_Boissonnet,_photograph_of_André_Lhote_0023

Today we touched the topic of Hyper realism. Hyper realism is like sense of touch from combining both real life and art into one whole master piece, something that immerges your mind to another dimension. by using the correct tools like for example “magnetic lasso” tool or canvas and many other tools that are still unknown to me can achieve such an artistic object, but at the same time I’m willing to learn more just to get better at it.

In class lately we’ve been having discussions and listening to the professor about the multiple possibilities the differences and types of art can offer you in real life expectations, from work, to entertainment. Art can always bring out the most out of someone’s imagination, making them explode either into a piece of paper or screen. Displaying us the massive varieties of tools digital art can offer us to bring out the most out of our own imagination into work, making it possible. Digital art is not always something for entertainment, but also for work, if your boss, or superior in command ask you to do this specific type of job, you’re the type of guy he’ll be looking for due to your abilities of handling digital art. Art will always be around for all of us when we need it the most out of our daily lives.
